An Aviators paradise in the heart of the Comox Valley
TEXADA AVIATION MUSEUM OPENING
Texada Arts, Culture & Tourism Society is pleased to announce that the Texada Aviation Museum (TAM) Grand Opening will be held at 11:00 AM on 12th May, 2018 at the Texada AeroSpace Camp Hangar. Everyone Is Welcome!
The TAM’s objective is to enlighten and inspire its patrons and visitors regarding aviation in its many forms and influences on settlements along the Sunshine Coast. Many decades of development and refinement of the technology of flight have seen myriad changes and resulted in influencing the region’s social and economic environments.
Documenting and displaying these changes is TAM’s purpose. The history of aviation is well documented in the many books and articles that are in TAM’s collection. Also technical and scientific articles are well represented.
